Stage 1 mapping broadens the torque plateau on the Discovery 2.7 TDV6 while keeping OEM drivability. EGR flow and its diagnostics are fully disabled, keeping the intake charge clean. Boost, smoke and torque limiters are rescaled with conservative air-fuel targets so the 6-speed driveline remains within factory margins during low-range work. Cold-start, idle and part-throttle calibrations preserve highway economy, yet boost builds earlier for smoother pull-away on steep trails and urban junctions.
