NOREAD Remover is designed to work with raw .BIN dumps — the kind you'd read off an ECU via bench or BDM/JTAG. It strips NOREAD protection flags at the binary level.

EFI Live and HP Tuners use their own proprietary file formats (.ctd, .hpt, etc.), which are not raw BIN files. These formats include wrapper data, licensing info, and their own internal structure, so NOREAD Remover won't parse them directly.

What you can do:

• If you have a raw .BIN read from the ECU (e.g., via bench tools like PCMFlash, MMFlash, or similar), NOREAD Remover can process that.
• If you're dealing with a "read-locked" controller where your bench tool returns a NOREAD flag in the dump, this is exactly the use case the tool targets.
