BMW ISN Editor is a lightweight Windows utility for professional service centers that need to
synchronize immobilizer data after ECU, DME/DDE or EWS/CAS replacement. It reads identifiers from
dumps, aligns the ISN, and lets you perform a safe DME→CAS pairing during legitimate repairs.


What it does

• DME/DDE side: load MS/ME/DDE dumps, display VIN and ISN; prep data for pairing.
• EWS/CAS side: open EWS or CAS files, view VIN/ID bytes and status; stage for alignment.
• DME→CAS sync: one-click workflow to transfer the correct ISN from engine ECU to the immobilizer module
  for post-replacement repairs (when authorized).
• Clear, minimal UI with Open / Change / Save actions for traceable service documentation.

Typical repair scenarios

• Engine ECU or CAS/EWS unit replaced and immobilizer pairing is required.

• Back up original dumps and label them by VIN/job number.
