Compatibility notes
All documents are reference manuals only and do not have any built in activation. They can be used alongside Caterpillar electronic tools but do not replace licensed diagnostic applications or subscriptions. Coverage depends on the engine prefix and machine variant listed on each manual or wiring diagram. Always match the document to the serial number, arrangement number or prefix of the engine or machine you are working on.

Basic usage

• Extract the archive to a local folder, preferably on an internal drive for faster searching.
• Open individual PDFs or office documents with your preferred viewer and bookmark frequently used files.
• Use file names to locate the correct model, engine series or prefix before performing repairs.
• Print selected pages such as torque specifications, wiring extracts or hydraulic schematics when you need them next to the machine.
• Keep a backup copy of the archive in a safe location before making any changes or deletions.

Operating systems
The manual library is document based and can be used on most modern systems that support PDF and office formats:

• Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Recent macOS releases
• Linux distributions with a PDF and office document viewer
• Android or iOS tablets running a PDF and office app

Minimum system requirements

• CPU: Dual core 1.5 GHz or faster
• RAM: 2 GB minimum, 4 GB or more recommended for handling large PDFs
• Storage: At least 6 GB free space for the extracted archive and working copies
• Display: 1366×768 or higher for comfortable viewing of diagrams and tables
• Software: PDF reader and office viewer capable of opening RTF, DOCX and PPT files
• Network: Optional internet connection if you sync the library through cloud storage
