Dash Board VW Tool v1.0.1 — Passat instrument cluster service
Workshop utility by MobilHack Team for VW Passat dashboards MM4 and M73 series.
Reads full identification and supports KM programming on supported clusters.



What it does

• Read Info: Controller ID, Component, Soft Coding, Dealer No., Other Info, No. of Km.
• Write KM: Program odometer value on supported MM4/M73 clusters.
• Minimal UI: quick access buttons, compact design for bench or in-car work.

Supported models

• VW Passat — MM4 and M73 dashboard series (per About dialog).

How to use

1. Connect a compatible VAG K-line/CAN interface mapped to a COM port.
2. Switch ignition ON (or power the cluster on the bench).
3. Click Read Info to capture identification and current KM.
4. If needed, use Write KM to program the desired value, then cycle power and verify.

Good practice

• Always document the original KM and save screenshots before changes.
• Use only on vehicles you are authorized to service; comply with local regulations.
• After programming, run a full DTC scan and confirm cluster/coding integrity.

System compatibility
Tested on Windows 10 LTSC (2019); also runs on Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 11 (x86/x64).

Minimum PC requirements

• CPU: Dual-core 2.0 GHz+
• RAM: 2 GB (4 GB recommended)
• Disk: <100 MB free
• Interface: VAG K-line/CAN adapter with stable 12 V supply for the cluster
