JLR SDD 167.00 (Symptom Driven Diagnostics) is a Windows suite for legacy Jaguar/Land Rover vehicles.
It guides technicians through fault finding, DTC read/clear, live data, service procedures, and where
supported, module programming. The package here also includes a small service access code utility
(“coded access”) and CCF Tools 4.6 for inspecting/editing configuration files.



What you can do with SDD 167

• Guided diagnostics using symptom-based workflows; view ECU info, identifiers, and live parameters.
• Read/clear DTCs, run actuator tests, and perform service functions with on-screen steps.
• Module coverage across common JLR platforms of the SDD era (pre-Pathfinder/legacy models).
• Multi-language installer – choose one or install all languages for a shared workstation.

Service Access (coded access utility)

• Generate time-limited service access codes from a seed for specific maintenance menus (e.g.,
  software download, configuration, instrument cluster apps) when you are authorized to do so.
• Options panel lets you enable only the features you need for a given session.

CCF Tools 4.6

• Open/inspect CCF data, search by keyword, filter by routine/part, compare configurations.
• Read VBF / snapshots, create templates, adjust values, and save VBF for documentation.

Typical workflow

• Install SDD 167 → select language(s) → connect a compatible J2534 interface.
• Run a health scan, review guided tests, and record results.
• (Optional) Use coded access for permitted procedures; edit/verify CCF with CCF Tools when required.

Compatibility & Minimum Requirements

• Tested on Windows 10 LTSC (2019); also runs on Windows 7/8/10/11 (32/64-bit).
• CPU: dual-core or better • RAM: 4 GB+ recommended • Storage: 2 GB+ free.
• Requires a compatible J2534 pass-thru (e.g., Mongoose-type/JLR VCI) and stable USB power.
