MPPS v21 Toolkit is a compact Windows toolbox for ECU service. It combines fast OBD read/write with
bench/boot solutions for a wide range of Bosch/Magneti Marelli/Siemens ECUs. Create clean backups,

bench/boot solutions for a wide range of Bosch/Magneti Marelli/Siemens ECUs. Create clean backups,
verify checksums, and convert saved files for analysis in third-party editors.
What’s inside (based on the folder layout)
- Mpps.exe (v21.0.1.3) — the main OBD application: identify ECU, read/write, auto-checksum where supported,
and generate service logs for your records. - MultiBoot.exe (v3.5.6.3) — boot-mode utility for selected MPC/SH families; helpful when OBD is not available
or a recovery is required. - Tricore Boot.exe (v5.0.15) — dedicated bench/boot loader for Bosch TriCore ECUs (EDC17/ME9/MEV/…).
- MPPS Decryptor v1.2 — converts your encrypted MPPS readouts to plain .bin for comparison, hex view,
and archival.
Key capabilities
- All-in-one ECU workflow: Identify → Read → Verify checksum → Save/Compare → Write.
- OBD coverage over K-Line/CAN; bench/boot for units that need physical access.
- Checksum & verification helpers to reduce rework and confirm integrity.
- Recovery paths for non-booting ECUs (where protocols allow).
- Portable footprint — run from a workshop USB and keep tidy backups per VIN.
Quick start
- Launch Mpps.exe for OBD tasks; select protocol, read the ECU and save an untouched backup.
- If OBD is not possible, choose MultiBoot or TriCore Boot and follow the pinout/bench wiring for your ECU.
- (Optional) Use Decryptor to convert MPPS-encrypted files to .bin for hex inspection and comparison.
- Document the session: VIN/ECU IDs, dates, and checksums for a clean service record.
Compatibility & Minimum Requirements
- Tested on Windows 10 LTSC (2019); works on Windows 7/8/10/11 (32/64-bit).
- CPU: dual-core or better • RAM: 2 GB+ • Storage: 500 MB+ (more for backups).
- Requires a compatible MPPS interface and a stable power supply for bench jobs.
