What is it?
Compact utility from RevoTechnik to unpack VAG firmware containers. Converts SGO or BUN
packages into raw BIN images for analysis or offline tools. No internet or account required.

• VAG EDC15
• Bosch MED9
• Bosch MED17 (TSI)
• VAG SIMOS 7
• Bosch EDC16 (1MB + 448k µP)
• Bosch EDC16 (2MB; some 512k µP)
• Siemens PPD

Main features
• SGO → BIN extraction (choose correct ECU family, then “Extract to bin”)
• BUN → BIN conversion (legacy update format)
• “Info” button shows basic SGO metadata before extraction
• Fully offline, portable (no installer)

How to use

1. Click Info (optional) to verify the SGO file’s details.
2. Select the proper ECU family on the left.
3. Press Extract to bin to save a raw BIN.
4. For legacy BUN files, use the BUN → BIN button.

Notes & limitations
• This tool does not calculate or repair checksums, nor does it sign flash files.
• Use dedicated checksum/correction tools (e.g. within your editor/flasher) after extraction.
• BIN output is a raw image; size/layout depends on the chosen ECU family.
• For safe flashing, always match software numbers and follow OEM procedures.

System
• Windows 7/8/10/11 (x86/x64). Portable EXE. Run as Administrator if your AV blocks file access.
