Quick intro
VAGHelper neXt (VAGHelper.X) is a specialist utility focused on VAG body control module (BCM) lighting configuration and related file tools. It explains and edits light scheme bytes for PQ35/46-era BCMs, adds a steering-curve editor, and reads useful metadata from .SGO firmware packages. Function availability varies by platform and unit firmware.

VAGHelper neXt v2.0.0.7 about window with version info and SkodaPilot branding for BCM tools.

Highlights
  • Light schemes editor for BCMs: map lamps/functions and understand byte fields such as the well-known “Byte 18” on PQ platforms.
  • Steering curve editor with APA/MQB/ZF3 modes and CSV export for analysis and documentation. (UI options shown in the tool.)
  • SGO inspector: open .SGO packages to view identification and other info; designed for reading/analysis rather than full binary rebuilding.
  • Unit information & coding panes to view part numbers/coding strings and stage safe edits where supported.
  • Multi-brand coverage across VW/Škoda/Seat with model and lamp-type pickers for workshop workflows.
