Great utility

Thanks for the upload! This is a must-have tool for anyone doing their own maintenance on F and G series cars.

Just a quick tip for those new to this: make sure you have your Ediabas configured correctly before trying to connect, and ensure the ignition is ON. It works best via an ENET cable.

Also, it is worth noting that these records are written locally to the Head Unit. If you take the car to a dealer and they perform a software update or sync with the central BMW servers (AIR/KAOS), your manual entries might get overwritten by the official server history. Always keep a backup of your service logs!

Super , thanks

You're welcome! It is definitely a handy tool to keep the digital service book updated, especially for DIY oil changes.

Just a heads-up: this tool writes the history to the Head Unit only. It does not update the service history stored on the key fob. If a dealer scans your key, they won't see these manual entries unless they look at the iDrive screen directly.
