What is xDecoder?
xDecoder is a Windows utility for ECU file analysis focused on DTC table detection and management. It helps technicians locate diagnostic trouble code maps, mask and path tables in BINs from common Bosch and Delphi controllers and build clean DTC-off files for testing.

That is correct. Disconnecting the internet prevents the software from attempting to verify the liсеnsе with the server, which causes the crash/error.

Alternatively, you can block the executable in your Windows Firewall (both Inbound and Outbound rules). This allows you to keep your internet connection active while using the tool.

  • Go to Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security.
  • Create a new Outbound Rule.
  • Select the xDecoder executable.
  • Choose "Block the connection".
