This Stage 1 calibration for the Alfa Giulietta 2.0 JTDm goes far beyond a simple remap, delivering a meticulously balanced performance upgrade that preserves factory drivability while unlocking significant gains across the entire powerband. Starting with a bespoke turbo boost curve, we’ve reshaped the pressure ramp to eliminate lag and ensure a more progressive spool-up, giving you instantaneous throttle response from low rpm through to redline. Injection timing and quantity maps have been refined to optimize cylinder filling and combustion efficiency, resulting in smoother transitions and a stronger mid-range surge without sacrificing refinement. Load and smoke limiters have been carefully adjusted to increase torque output while maintaining safe AFRs, meaning you’ll feel a notable improvement in acceleration both off the line and during overtaking maneuvers. EGR flow has been reduced to minimize soot buildup, and DPF regeneration thresholds have been recalibrated to improve filter longevity under spirited driving. Additionally, gearbox adaptation tables for the automatic transmission are fine-tuned to suit the increased torque, ensuring crisp, yet comfortable, shifts.
