The key issued here is generated against the 4.0 release hosted in Resource #816 — if your installation is 4.2, the HW-ID/licensing scheme is different, so a 4.0 key won't validate.
Two options:
- Install the 4.0 build from this resource page and request the key again with the HW-ID that build reports — the one you posted is noticeably different in format from the other 4.0 HW-IDs in this thread (
F57xx/F576Cblock pattern), which supports that it came from 4.2. - If you need 4.2 specifically, that version isn't in this resource, so ask Bin/admin whether a 4.2 package and activation are available.
If you want to stay on 4.0, post the exact HW-ID string from the 4.0 installer plus the registration name you want and I'll generate it.
