PCR2.1 PCR 2.1 Immo Remover Software V2.4 Unlimited Verison IMMO OFF Fix SIMOS for VAG ECU ...

Thanks for sharing the update.

It is good to see the algorithm fixed in v2.4. Just a heads-up for anyone using this: as mentioned in the description, this tool does not perform checksum correction. You must calculate the checksum (CS) externally (using WinOLS or similar) before writing the file back to the PCR2.1 ECU, otherwise the car will not start.

how to use this software

Here is the general workflow for using this tool:

  1. Make sure you have .NET Framework 4.6 or higher installed on your computer.
  2. Read the PCR2.1 ECU using your programmer (e.g., KTAG, PCMFlash, etc.). It is always best to keep a full backup of the original files before making changes.
  3. Open the software and load your dump (usually the Flash file).
  4. Click the button to apply the Immo Off раtсh.
  5. Save the new file.
  6. CRITICAL STEP: As stated in the description, this tool does not perform checksum correction. You must correct the checksums (CS) using WinOLS, LSuite, or similar software before writing.
  7. Write the modified, checksum-corrected file back to the ECU.

what ecu model support

As the name implies, this software is specifically built for Continental/Siemens Simos PCR2.1 ECUs.

These are found in VAG group cars (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda) with 1.6 TDI Common Rail engines. It does not support other Simos variants.

There are a few common issues that can cause this software to not work properly. Try the following:

1. .NET Framework
Make sure you have .NET Framework 4.6 or higher installed. You can download it from the official Microsoft website. Without it, the software may not launch or crash immediately.

2. Run as Administrator
Right-click the .exe file and select "Run as Administrator". Some Windows security settings can block the software from running properly.

3. Windows Defender / Antivirus
These types of tools are often flagged as false positives by antivirus software. Try the following:
  • Disable Windows Defender or your antivirus temporarily
  • Add the software folder to the exclusion/whitelist
  • Re-extract the archive after disabling the antivirus (sometimes the .exe gets quarantined during extraction)

4. Windows Compatibility
If you are using Windows 11, try running it in compatibility mode:
  • Right-click the .exe → Properties → Compatibility tab
  • Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" → select Windows 7 or Windows 10

5. Correct Dump File
Make sure you are loading the correct dump format. The tool expects a full flash read from the PCR2.1 ECU. If you read only the EEPROM or a partial dump, the software won't recognize it.

If it still doesn't work, please share the exact error message or a screenshot so we can help further.
