Included Tools & Their Purpose
1. FSC-Reader
This utility connects directly to your vehicle's head unit (e.g., CIC, NBT) via a diagnostic cable. Its purpose is to read the unique diagnostic information and the "1B" or "DE" file from your car. This file is the encrypted certificate that is required by the generator to create a valid code for your specific vehicle.
2. FSC-Generator
This is the main tool for creating the code. You provide it with the 1B/DE file you extracted with the FSC-Reader, your vehicle's VIN, and the specific code for the map you want to install. The generator then calculates the final, unique FSC activation code.
The 4-Step Workflow
- Connect & Read Data: Use the FSC-Reader to connect to your car's Head Unit. Use the "read VIN" and then "read FSC" functions to extract the necessary 1B/DE file and save it to your computer.
- Prepare the Generator: Open the FSC-Generator. You will need the appropriate lookup files for the map version you are installing.
- Generate the Code: In the generator, enter your car's full VIN, the correct AppID for your map version (e.g., 0x28 for Europe PREMIUM), select the map type and region, and click "Generate".
- Activate Your Maps: The tool will provide the final FSC activation code. Use this code when your car prompts for it during the map update process via USB.
