BMW PSdZData — FULL package for programming & flashing with E-Sys
PSdZData is the official BMW ECU dataset used by E-Sys/ISTA to code, program and flash modules on F/G/I-series vehicles. The FULL edition contains the complete set of firmware payloads (SWFL/BTLD), CAFD/FAFP, BLP and related metadata required to update control units — not just code them.
Why FULL vs Lite
What’s inside
Version highlight: v4.55.21 FULL
Typical use cases
Pair with the right E-Sys installer
Complete your programming toolkit by installing E-Sys alongside these PSdZData packs:
Compatibility & tooling
• Works with E-Sys on Windows (use an edition aligned to your PSdZData generation)
• Interfaces: ICOM (recommended) or ENET as applicable
• Vehicle families: BMW/MINI/RR F-, G- and I-series platforms (verify per model/I-Step)
Good practice: keep a stable power supply during programming (battery support/charger), back up FA/VO and coding data, and always match PSdZData to the vehicle’s target I-Step before flashing.]
Tested environment
Verified on Windows 10 LTSC (2019). Also operates on Windows 7, 8/8.1, 10, 11.
Minimum requirements
• CPU: 2-core 2.0+ GHz • RAM: 8 GB+ (16 GB recommended) • Disk: 150 GB free for FULL pack + working room • Display: 1366×768+ • Network: local/USB for ICOM or Ethernet for ENET.

- FULL: includes firmware files for flashing/programming, TAL execution, bootloader segments and all coding data. Required when updating ECU software.
- LITE: trimmed set for FDL/VO coding only (no SWFL/BTLD payloads). Suitable when you won’t flash modules.
What’s inside
- SWE folders with SWFL and BTLD firmware, CAFD coding data and BLP plan files
- FAFP and SGBMIDs for target calculation
- I-Step / I-Level mappings for vehicle integration levels
- TAL processing resources for E-Sys programming workflows
Version highlight: v4.55.21 FULL
- Current 4.55.xx line with late-model F/G/I-series coverage
- Usable for firmware updates, retrofits and post-repair programming when matched to the vehicle’s I-Step
- Typical size: 100+ GB (ensure ample disk space)
Typical use cases
- Update ECU software to a newer I-Level (flash programming)
- Retrofit features or replace modules and align software levels
- Perform VO/FDL coding with complete data present (FULL also covers coding)
Pair with the right E-Sys installer
Complete your programming toolkit by installing E-Sys alongside these PSdZData packs:
- E-Sys 24.06 — all versions + mirrors — consolidated post with direct links (Primary/Backup) and quick setup notes.
Tip: Keep E-Sys and PSdZData from the same release family for best compatibility. Use Full for complete ECU flashing, choose Lite for fast coding sessions. All archives are password-protected: binunlock.com.
