Compatibility notes
UpRev ROM Editor is intended for Nissan and Infiniti gasoline vehicles that are listed as supported in the official UpRev support matrix. Typical applications include 350Z, 370Z, G35, G37, Q40, Q50, Q60, Maxima, Altima, Sentra, Titan, Armada, Frontier, X-Terra, Patrol, Juke and many related models.
Exact coverage depends on ECU hardware and ROM ID. If a specific ROM is not yet available, UpRev may request a ROM dump to add support, especially for non-core models.
Diesel ECUs and California emissions regulations can impose additional limitations, and some early ECUs are not compatible with UpRev at all. Always verify your ROM ID and regional legality before purchasing or flashing.

Basic usage
  • Install the UpRev Tuning Suite and ROM Editor on a compatible Windows laptop and connect the official UpRev interface cable
  • Turn the vehicle ignition ON, wait until the ROM Editor reports that the ECU is ready and note the ECU part number shown in the main window
  • Use the built in function to download the correct stock or base ROM for your ECU, then create and save a working copy for tuning
  • Edit permitted maps such as fuel, ignition, throttle, cam phasing and limiters, then save the custom ROM with a clear file name and revision notes
  • Before flashing, connect a stable power supply or battery tender, follow UpRev’s reflash instructions and avoid interrupting the process to reduce the risk of ECU recovery
  • Use the logging functions to record RPM, load, AFR, ignition timing and other key channels, then refine the calibration based on logged data

Operating systems
  • Windows OS required; designed for full desktop editions
  • Commonly used on Windows 8 and Windows 10; newer Windows versions are also supported when running a full version (not RT or mobile)

Minimum system requirements
  • Windows 10 or newer recommended with all current updates
  • Modern dual core CPU or better suitable for real-time logging and flashing operations
  • 8 GB of RAM or more recommended for stable operation alongside other tuning tools
  • At least 2 GB of free disk space for software, ROM files and log storage
  • USB port for the UpRev interface cable and a reliable power source for the laptop during flashing
