ABS ESP Long Code Calculator Helper v2.1 is a small Windows utility that assists with long coding of VAG ABS and ESP control modules.
It lets you build correct long coding strings by selecting vehicle options instead of guessing byte values, then copies the final coding directly for use with VCDS or other diagnostic tools.

ABS ESP Long Code Calculator Helper v2.1 main screen with VIN field and byte based long coding editor for VAG modules.

Package contents
  • ABS ESP Long Code Calculator Helper v2.1 application for Windows
  • Internal configuration data for supported ESP MK60EC1, ESP MK25A, ESP Continental MK100 and ESP Bosch 8.2i controllers
  • Built in help page explaining the coding workflow

Compatibility notes
This helper is intended for ABS and ESP modules used in Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Škoda vehicles that support long coding via diagnostic tools.
It is designed as an offline calculator that prepares coding strings. The actual coding procedure must be carried out with a suitable diagnostic interface such as VCDS or another compatible tool.
Available options inside each byte depend on the selected module and platform, so some combinations may not be valid for every vehicle. Always compare with label files and factory documentation before applying the coding on a customer car.

Basic usage
  • Start the program on a Windows PC and choose the correct ESP generation tab such as ESP MK60EC1 or ESP Continental MK100
  • Enter the VIN in the highlighted field and pick steering side, vehicle configuration and control module part number from the drop down lists
  • Click through the individual bytes and select options that match the vehicle equipment like engine type, transmission, brake system and driver assist features
  • Review the generated long coding string and use the copy function to place it on the clipboard
  • Open your diagnostic software, log in to the ABS or ESP controller with the proper security access and paste the long coding into the appropriate field
  • Confirm the coding and check for fault codes or warning lights before returning the vehicle
