- Open Ptt2.8.vmx in VMware Workstation (Windows/Linux) or VMware Fusion (macOS)
- Attach VOCOM I/II or a compatible RP1210/J2534 interface to the VM
- Start Tech Tool, identify the vehicle by VIN/chassis, then run diagnostics or service operations
- Use the clean baseline snapshot and create your own checkpoints after each session
