Introduction

Which Windows version is recommended?
For maximum stability during ECU flashing and diagnostics, a clean installation of Windows 10 (64-bit) is recommended.
Is it compatible with J2534 PassThru?
Most modern software versions support standard J2534 interfaces like Scanmatik 2 Pro, OpenPort 2.0, and specific VCI adapters.

don't work... need the licence file ad2024.lic

1) Copy all files into c:\Program Files\Allison Transmission\Allison DOC For PC - Service Tool\ folder

Hi, I think the file to generate the license file for Allison Doc 2024 didn't upload. Everything else is OK, you just need that to generate the ad2024.lic file.

Hola. Según lo que comentan los compañeros más arriba, parece que el generador no se subió correctamente con el recurso o falta en el archivo comprimido.

Lo que se necesita específicamente es la herramienta para generar el archivo

. Te sugiero revisar si tu antivirus lo eliminó (a veces pasa con los keygens y los manda a cuarentena), pero si no está ahí, lo más probable es que haya que esperar a que el autor actualice la descarga.

Dale, nos cuentas qué tal. Como te comentaba, a veces Windows Defender o el antivirus lo borran silenciosamente apenas descomprimes, así que echa un ojo al historial de protección por si acaso.

Hi, either the creator didn't upload it, or the antivirus deleted it when they did. I've already downloaded it on two PCs without antivirus, and that file isn't inside the .rar archive.

Thanks for confirming that. Since you've verified it on machines without AV, it's definitely missing from the release itself.

We'll just have to wait for the uploader to update the resource with the missing generator. Hopefully, they see the notifications soon.

If you look in the search engine, you'll find the 2021 version; that one works fine.

That is a good workaround if you are working on older equipment.

However, the main reason people are looking for this v2024 release is likely for the Gen5 support mentioned in the title. The 2021 version won't be able to communicate with or program the newer controllers found in recent trucks.

But yes, for anything older, v2021 is stable.

Agreed. Until Bin updates the resource with the missing file, we are stuck. Fingers crossed they check the thread soon.

Right, as discussed earlier in the thread — the license generator for the 2024 version is missing from the archive. It was never included in the upload.

You have two options:

  • Wait for Bin (the thread starter) to update the resource with the missing kеу***.
  • In the meantime, look for the 2021 version of Allison DOC — that one includes a working license generator. It covers older Allison transmissions fine, but won't support Gen5 controllers.
