BMW Road Map Europe WAY 2026-1

BMW Road Map Europe WAY is designed for vehicles equipped with the EntryNav2 multimedia system (also known as EntryEvo).

Supported BMW models

WAY maps were installed on models with the S6UMA (Navigation) option from approximately the end of 2017:
1 Series (F20/F21): from 07/2017 to 2019
2 Series (F22/F23): from 07/2017
2 Series Active Tourer / Gran Tourer (F45/F46): from 07/2017
3 Series (F30/F31/F34): from 07/2017 to 2019
4 Series (F32/F33/F36): from 07/2017
5 Series (G30/G31): from 07/2017 to 2019 (for base trims without Professional Navigation)
X1 (F48): from 11/2017
X2 (F39): from launch (03/2018)
X3 (G01): since 11/2017
X4 (G02): since launch (04/2018)
X5 (G05): 2018–2019 (base models)
i3 (I01): since 11/2017

Supported MINI models

The EntryNav2 system was also widely used in MINI vehicles (Connected Navigation package):
F54 (Clubman): since 11/2017
F55 / F56 / F57 (Hatch / Conv): since 03/2018
F60 (Countryman): since 11/2017

How to check compatibility for sure?

To ensure you need WAY maps, check the current version in the vehicle menu:
Go to Navigation.
Press the Option button on the iDrive joystick.
Select Navigation Settings → Position and Version → Version Information.
If you see a message like "Road Map EUROPE WAY 20xx-x," this update is right for you.
