This is the BMW ISPI ICOM Next Firmware version 04.26.10 update package.

Contents:

• BMWISPIICOM-Next-FW_04-26-10.msi — 32.26 MB installer for flashing the ICOM Next interface.

Installation notes:

• Run the .msi on the ISTA diagnostic PC — it will push the firmware to the ICOM Next head unit over the network (LAN or direct Ethernet connection).
• Make sure the ICOM Next is powered (via OBD or external supply) and reachable on the network before launching the installer.
• Do not interrupt the update process; a failed flash can brick the unit (recoverable only via USB recovery image in most cases).
• After installation, verify the new FW version in ISTA under Network settings → ICOM details or via the ICOM web interface (default: 169.254.x.x or DHCP-assigned IP).

Compatibility:
This firmware is intended for genuine and clone ICOM Next (A3) units. It is not compatible with ICOM A1/A2 or ICOM Pro — those have separate firmware packages.

If you have any issues during the update (e.g., ICOM not detected, update stalling), check your firewall/antivirus settings and ensure no VPN or extra network adapters are interfering with the connection.
