What's the exact model and year of your Bobcat 2535, and do you know what engine it has (manufacturer/displacement)? Also, do you have any markings or part numbers on the ECU itself?

Reason I ask: "Bobcat 2535" could have different ECU platforms depending on year and engine supplier (often Kubota or Doosan diesel engines). The ECU type determines which software and protocol you need.

OBD2 port ≠ car-style OBD2
Many tractors/skid steers have a diagnostic connector that looks like OBD2 but uses different protocols — typically J1939 (CAN) or ISO 14229 (UDS), not standard OBD-II PIDs. A generic car scan tool usually won't get you into the ECU for tuning.

What you typically need:

• Bobcat Service Analyzer (BSA) — Bobcat's own dealer diagnostic software. It can read/clear codes, view live data, and do some parameter changes. Usually requires a dealer license or a cloned setup.
• Alientech KESSv2 / KTAG or CMD Flash — if you want to actually read and modify the ECU calibration (fuel maps, torque limits, speed limits, DPF/EGR strategy, etc.), you need a proper flash tool that supports the specific ECU. These tools work via OBD or bench/boot depending on the ECU.
• EVC WinOLS / ECM Titanium — for editing the binary/calibration once you've read it out.
