ImmoServiceTool PIN and Key Data Calculator for ECU and Cluster Jobs

1009 build: PIN and key data from dumps, ECU and dashboard pairing support

ImmoServiceTool is a workshop utility for working with immobilizer related data during authorized service and module replacement. It helps calculate service values from ECU, dashboard, or body module memory dumps and organizes coverage by brand, model, module type, controller vendor, CPU, and EEPROM family.

The database style list is designed to speed up common jobs like key matching, ECU to cluster pairing, and recovering correct security data after a module swap, when performed under...

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Windows version is recommended?
For maximum stability during ECU flashing and diagnostics, a clean installation of Windows 10 (64-bit) is recommended.
Is it compatible with J2534 PassThru?
Most modern software versions support standard J2534 interfaces like Scanmatik 2 Pro, OpenPort 2.0, and specific VCI adapters.

How do I use it, and how do I open it?

How to open/run ImmoServiceTool

  • Download the package from the resource page.
  • Extract it with 7-Zip/WinRAR to a simple path (example: C:\ImmoServiceTool\). Avoid running it from inside the archive.
  • Look for the main launcher (usually ImmoServiceTool.exe or similar) and double-click.
  • Run as Administrator on first start (right-click → Run as administrator).
  • If Windows blocks it: right-click the EXE → Properties → tick Unblock (if present) → Apply.

Basic usage (typical workflow)

  • Create a job (ECU or Cluster) depending on what you’re doing (PIN, CS, MAC, PowerClass, component security, etc. depends on brand/model).
  • Load your dump: select EEPROM/FLASH file you read from the ECU/cluster (the tool is a calculator from dumps, so it needs a valid read).
  • Select the correct platform/type (ECU/cluster family, memory type, file size). Wrong selection = wrong result.
  • Click calculate/parse to extract PIN/key data.
  • Save/export results and use them in your pairing/adaptation procedure (with your diagnostic software).

If it doesn’t open (most common fixes)

  • Windows 10 x64 is the safest choice (as you already noted in the FAQ).
  • Antivirus/Defender: add the folder to exclusions temporarily (some auto tools get false positives). If you do this, keep the tool in its own folder, not on the Desktop/Downloads.
  • Install runtimes (common requirements):
    • Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables (2010–2022, x86 + x64)
    • .NET Framework (often 4.7.2/4.8)
  • Missing DLL error: tell me the exact DLL name/message and I’ll point you to the right runtime.
  • Nothing happens when launching: check Task Manager → see if it starts then closes; also try right-click → Properties → Compatibility → set Windows 10 compatibility and run as admin.

If you want targeted steps
Post:
  • A screenshot of the tool’s main window (or the error)
  • Your Windows version (10/11, x64)
  • What file you’re loading (ECU/cluster, EEPROM/FLASH, size)
  • Car/ECU/cluster type (e.g., VAG MED17, EDC17, MQB cluster, etc.)
…and I’ll tell you the exact clicks/section to use for that job.
