Hello
my ECU got water damaged. replaced ECU
need immo off and checksum calculated for simos 11.1
or...
Hello,
Thanks for providing the file, but unfortunately I wasn't able to extract the RAR archive on my end to inspect the binary.
To help you properly, I need a bit more info:
- Vehicle: Make, model, engine code, year?
- ECU part number: HW and SW numbers from the ECU label (e.g., 03L 906 022 XX)?
- Read method: Did you read the replacement ECU or the original (water-damaged) one? Full read or partial (external flash only)?
- Read tool: Xhorse Multi-Prog — did you read the external flash (e.g., 29F400 / M58BW016) via BDM/JTAG, or the full content including internal flash?
Important notes on Simos 11.1:
- IMMO off on Simos 11.1 typically requires patching the internal flash (Tricore internal), not just the external flash. If you only have the external flash dump, IMMO-off may not be fully achievable from that alone.
- Checksum correction — Simos 11.1 uses Bosch CRC-based checksums. Tools like WinOLS (with checksum plugin for Simos 11.1) or dedicated checksum tools can handle this, but the approach depends on whether you have a full read or just the external flash.
- If you're swapping a used replacement ECU into your car, the cleanest path is usually to clone the original ECU's flash content onto the new one (if the original is still readable), or to do IMMO-off + virgin/reset on the replacement and then re-adapt to the car.
Please re-upload the file as a .zipinstead of .rar so I can inspect it, and provide the details above. That way I can give you accurate guidance on what's possible with your specific dump.
