Connect your J2534 interface (like Tactrix Openport 2.0, Scanmatik 2 Pro, or Chipsoft) to your PC and to the car (OBDII) or the SRS unit (on the bench).
Launch the ProByte application.
Select the Car Brand and Model, or search directly by the ECU Part Number.
Click Connect or Read ID to verify communication.
Important: Always click Read EEPROM (or Read Flash) first to save a backup of the original file before making changes.
Once backed up, click the Clear Crash or Reset button.
Write the patched data back to the unit.

If you are working on the bench, look for a "Pinout" or "Help" button within the software interface after selecting the specific airbag unit; it usually shows the connection diagram for +12V, GND, and CAN lines.
