Thank you sir

You're welcome!

Regarding your previous question about the dongle: This software is designed to work with J2534 adapters (like Openport 2.0, SM2 Pro, etc.) for SRS/Airbag crash data reset. Since this is the "FULL" release, it typically includes the necessary loader or emulator to run without the original physical USB security dongle.

Make sure to disable your antivirus before extracting the archive, as the асtivаtоr might be flagged as a false positive.

CAN you send me tutorial for learning this soft

There isn't a specific PDF manual included with this release, but the software is fairly intuitive if you have used other SRS tools before. Here is a quick guide on how to use it:

  1. Connect your J2534 interface (like Tactrix Openport 2.0, Scanmatik 2 Pro, or Chipsoft) to your PC and to the car (OBDII) or the SRS unit (on the bench).
  2. Launch the ProByte application.
  3. Select the Car Brand and Model, or search directly by the ECU Part Number.
  4. Click Connect or Read ID to verify communication.
  5. Important: Always click Read EEPROM (or Read Flash) first to save a backup of the original file before making changes.
  6. Once backed up, click the Clear Crash or Reset button.
  7. Write the patched data back to the unit.

If you are working on the bench, look for a "Pinout" or "Help" button within the software interface after selecting the specific airbag unit; it usually shows the connection diagram for +12V, GND, and CAN lines.

hi nass, did you get it to work ? i also get a dongle not found error

I'm not the original poster, but I can help with the "dongle not found" error. This is a common issue. Try the following steps:

  1. Make sure you extract the full archive first — don't run the software directly from inside the ZIP.
  2. Look for a loader, раtсh, or асtivаtоr file inside the extracted folder. You need to run the software through that loader, not the main .exe directly.
  3. Run the loader/exe as Administrator (right-click → Run as Administrator).
  4. Temporarily disable your antivirus and Windows Defender — they often quarantine or delete the сrаск/loader silently. Check your quarantine folder and restore any deleted files.
  5. If you are on Windows 11, try running in Windows 10 compatibility mode (right-click → Properties → Compatibility tab).
  6. A clean Windows 10 (64-bit) installation is recommended for maximum stability.

If you still get the error after all of this, re-download the archive and extract again with antivirus completely off — chances are a critical file was removed during the first extraction without you noticing.

Let us know if that fixes it! 👍

hmm, i don't see a loader in the zip and nothing in the quarantine, let's wait for some feedback from some members that got it working, cheers.

Fair enough! Sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error with these releases. Hopefully some other members who got it running can chime in and share exactly how they launched it.

In the meantime, you could also try posting your question directly in the resource page comments section — the uploader or other users might have specific instructions for this particular version.

Keep us updated if you find a solution, and good luck! 🤞

i uninstalled the guardent drivers because those drivers are for running software from a dongle, i use them for pcm flash dongle, it still throws an error even with the guardent drivers uninstalled, i'll post a question in the resource page, cheers.

Good thinking on trying to remove the Guardent/Sentinel drivers — that was a solid troubleshooting step. Sometimes those dongle protection drivers can conflict with patched software, but in this case it seems like the issue is something else.

Posting in the resource page is definitely the best move. The uploader should be able to clarify:

  • Whether a specific loader or раtсh is needed
  • If there are any dependencies to install first
  • Which exact version of the dongle emulator (if any) is required

When you post there, include your Windows version and whether you're running 32-bit or 64-bit — that will help them troubleshoot faster.

Let us know what they say, it will help others in this thread too! 👍
