Unable to code frm2 or frm3 modules on bench with ncsexpert?

Hi guys, hope somebody may be able to help. I have a proper E Series FRM bench test platform cable and i've been trying and so far failing to code any frm module that i've tried so far which is an frm2 and frm3 type footwell module. There is no cas connected but all the software i have (tool32, ncsexpert, winkfp etc) can see the footwell modules fine once they are connected up on with the cable. I've been able to change vin numbers and edit or change the FA without any issues. I also managed to update on the zusb when playing around with one of them the other day too. However the issue that i'm having is when i try to actually default code any of the frm modules. The error code that comes up is as follows:

"Error in CAB! Look at CABI.ERR and ERROR.LOG!
COAPI-2020: SG antwortet nicht IFH-0009: SG nicht angeschlossen oder meldet sich nicht FRM_70
COAPI-2020: SG antwortet nicht SG_CODIEREN

Is there something obvious that i'm doing wrong that's causing this error to happen? I have the latest SP-Daten files installed v74 i believe. I'm doing this on bench using my cable and i assume that it should be possible to be able to code an FRM on bench like this? I could be wrong but i don't see why not.
