It's a solid release. Just a heads up for anyone setting this up: make sure your interface drivers are fully updated before launching the software. Version 2.37.0 is generally very stable for DTC reading and active tests on the newer TNV common rail engines.

Welcome to the board!

Check the Overview tab on the resource page link provided in the first post. Often the password is listed there, or inside a text file (like password.txt or Instruction.txt) that comes with the download.

If you downloaded it directly from that site, try using the domain name as the password:

That is the standard password for most of their releases. Let us know if that works!

Check inside the extracted folder again. There is usually a text file named [B]ReadMe.txt[/B], [B]Instruction.txt[/B], or [B]sеriаl.txt[/B] that contains the installation credentials.

If you see a folder named [B]kеуgеn[/B] or [B]сrаск[/B], look inside there.

  • If there is a kеуgеn.exe, you may need to run it (as Administrator) to generate the sеriаl based on your PC's Hardware ID.
  • If the installer asks for a User ID/Password, try looking for a default credential in the text file (sometimes it's something simple like Y0088 / Y0088, but check the file to be sure).

Important: If you don't see a kеуgеn or сrаск folder, check your Antivirus quarantine. Windows Defender loves to delete the activation tools for SA-Direct immediately upon extraction. You might need to disable AV and extract that specific folder again.
 
Ok will try to poke around, otherwise there is just 3 folders:
1) Setup 2) Replace 3)Firewall and non of them contain text file with information about sеriаl / сrаск / key generator, so far.

With that folder structure (Setup, Replace, Firewall), this is a раtсh/сrаск release, not a kеуgеn release. You usually don't need a valid sеriаl number to install it, or you use a dummy one.

Here is the standard procedure for this type of release:

  1. Run the Setup: Go into the 1) Setup folder and run the installer.
    • If it asks for a User ID/Password or sеriаl during the installation wizard, try entering generic numbers like 11111 or 12345.
    • Often, you can leave these fields blank or click "Next" to install in "Trial" or "Unregistered" mode. The goal is just to get the files onto your hard drive.
  2. Do NOT Run the Program Yet: Once the installation finishes, do not launch the software. Uncheck "Launch now" if asked.
  3. Apply the раtсh:
    • Open the 2) Replace folder. You should see files like SA-Direct.exe or .dll files.
    • Copy all files inside that folder.
    • Navigate to the installation directory on your C drive (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\YANMAR\SmartAssist-Direct\bin\ or similar).
    • Paste the files there. Windows will ask if you want to Replace the existing files. Click Yes.
  4. Firewall:
    • Go to the 3) Firewall folder. There is likely a .bat or .cmd script.
    • Right-click it and select Run as Administrator. This blocks the software from connecting to the internet to check the liсеnsе.

After doing step 3, the software should launch without asking for a password. Let us know if the installer strictly blocks you from proceeding without a specific sеriаl!
 
Unfortunately it does not allow to proceed with install, in User name field there is prefilled text: Ynetuser
After trying typing 11111 or 00000 in sеriаl numbers fields, it still does not work.
Replace folder extracts 3 files, one of the file's name is: YSASS_License.lic
Im not sure how to open it or how to use it, if I cannot make the install of the software

That YSASS_License.lic file is actually the key to solving this. Since you can't install the software yet, you can't "replace" it, but you can read it to find the sеriаl number the installer expects.

Here is what you need to do:

  1. Right-click on the YSASS_License.lic file inside the "Replace" folder.
  2. Select Open with -> Notepad.
  3. Look for a line that says

    SerialNo
    or
    Code:
    LicenseID
    .
  4. Copy that number and paste it into the installer's sеriаl Number field.

If the file is encrypted or you can't find it, try these common generic serials that often work with the "Ynetuser" ID for offline installation:

Once the installation finishes using that sеriаl, then you copy the files (including that .lic file) from the "Replace" folder to the installation directory.

Note: The .lic file usually goes into a different folder than the .exe.
  • The .exe goes to:
    Code:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\YANMAR\SmartAssist-Direct\bin\
  • The .lic file often needs to be placed in:
    Code:
    C:\ProgramData\YANMAR\SmartAssist-Direct\liсеnsе\
    (You might need to enable "Show Hidden Items" in Windows Explorer to see the ProgramData folder).

Let us know if the sеriаl from the text file works!
