I’m not really talking about learning here.
I’ve got WinOLS 5 with basically all the useful modules, LUA, premium stuff, and a huge local database, around 4TB. Most of it is from bnu.to, I just imported and sorted it locally so it’s all there when I need it.
I open the customer’s ori, WinOLS finds similar stuff from the database, I check what versions are there, usually pick something from a known tuner and transfer the calibration changes into the original.
I don’t need the whole donor file either. If the calibration area is there, that’s usually enough for what I’m doing. I keep the customer’s ori as the base, move over the maps/changes I need, check it and export.
So most of the time it’s literally ori in, find a good matching file, transfer what I need, verify, done. I’m not sitting there finding every map from zero on every single file.
