Refund & Return Policy

This policy explains how refunds, returns, and exchanges work for BinUnlock digital products, including ECU and TCU tuning files, calibration resources, software references, map files, downloadable archives, and account-based digital access.

Digital product delivery

BinUnlock provides digital products and digital access. Products may be delivered through direct download, account access, resource access, file archives, download links, or other electronic delivery methods.

Because these products are digital and can be accessed or downloaded immediately after purchase, they cannot be physically returned in the same way as physical goods.

Customers are responsible for checking vehicle, ECU, TCU, software, hardware, region, and file compatibility before buying.

Returns for non-defective digital products

Digital sales are generally final once access has been granted, files have been downloaded, or a digital resource has been made available to the customer.

Important limitation
We do not accept returns for non-defective digital products
This includes buyer’s remorse, accidental purchases, incorrect vehicle selection, incompatible tools or software, failure to follow instructions, lack of technical knowledge, or a change of mind after access has been granted.

Defective, inaccessible, or incorrectly delivered products

If a purchased digital product is defective, inaccessible, incorrectly delivered, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of purchase.

After review, BinUnlock may provide one or more of the following resolutions:

  • technical assistance or download support;
  • replacement access or a corrected file;
  • store credit or alternative digital access;
  • a refund, if the issue cannot be reasonably resolved.

Each request is reviewed individually
Refunds are not automatic. We may ask for order details, screenshots, error messages, vehicle information, ECU/TCU information, tool information, or other evidence needed to review the issue.

Exchanges

Exchanges are not accepted for digital products.

If the wrong product was purchased, contact us as soon as possible. We may review the case, but we cannot guarantee replacement access, store credit, or a refund if the product has already been accessed, downloaded, or delivered.

Examples of non-refundable situations

Unless the product is defective, inaccessible, incorrectly delivered, or materially not as described, refunds are generally not provided for the following situations:

  • the customer selected the wrong vehicle, ECU, TCU, engine, hardware, or software version;
  • the customer does not have the required tools, software, hardware, or technical experience;
  • the customer changed their mind after purchase;
  • the customer expected a custom service but purchased a downloadable or account-based digital resource;
  • the customer cannot use the product because of local laws, vehicle condition, tool limitations, or third-party software limitations;
  • the customer failed to read the product description, notes, requirements, or compatibility information before purchase.

Legal and compatibility responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any use of ECU files, TCU files, tuning files, software references, calibration data, or related digital resources complies with applicable laws, regulations, vehicle requirements, emissions rules, road-use rules, motorsport rules, and local restrictions.

BinUnlock does not guarantee that a digital product is suitable for every vehicle, region, tool, software version, or use case. Compatibility must be verified before purchase.

How to request support or review

To request support for a defective, inaccessible, incorrectly delivered, or not-as-described digital product, contact us within 14 days of purchase.

Please include your order details, username, product link, a description of the issue, and any relevant screenshots, error messages, vehicle data, ECU/TCU data, tool information, or software version details.
