Tolerance Data is a large offline automotive repair-information system for workshop technicians who need service specifications, maintenance schedules, wiring diagrams, component locations, labor references and diagnostic guidance without relying on a live web portal. The database is designed for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, with additional van and truck material where available.

Supported vehicles, ECUs and files​#

Commercial documentation for this database generation describes broad European and import coverage: passenger cars and light commercial vehicles from roughly 1982 through 2009, with van/truck information commonly listed from the mid-1980s through 2009. Actual depth varies by make, model, engine, market and system; a vehicle appearing in the selector does not guarantee every wiring diagram or procedure.

  • Maintenance schedules, capacities, service specifications and adjustment data.
  • Engine-management, ABS, airbag and other electrical-system information where published for the selected vehicle.
  • Wiring diagrams, connector/component locations and diagnostic reference material.
  • Repair procedures, technical illustrations and labor-time references included in the local database.

Functions​#

  • Navigate by manufacturer, model, engine and system to reduce use of the wrong specification.

System and hardware requirements​#

  • A Windows XP, Vista or 7-era environment; distributor documentation lists both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows for this generation.
  • Several gigabytes of free storage for the installer and offline databases, plus space for extraction.
  • Administrator rights and compatibility settings may be required by the legacy installer/activation utility.
  • A readable workshop display and a PDF-capable environment for included supporting documents.

  1. Install on an isolated compatible Windows system and keep the original package available for recovery.
  2. Select the exact model, engine code, production period and system before opening data.
  3. Cross-check safety-critical torque, fluid, wiring and programming information against current OEM material.
  4. Record database discrepancies in the discussion so another technician can verify the same application.

Package contents​#

The prepared archive preserves the original installer, offline data sets, activation utility and setup guidance. It is a multi-gigabyte package intended for local use; no executable was launched during preparation.

Important limits​#

This is a historical database snapshot, so later models, superseded specifications and newer service bulletins are outside its scope. Use it as workshop reference, not as the sole authority for safety-critical or legally regulated repairs.
