Customer came in with crank no start, previous tech diagnosed faulty pcm. He claimed the board was burnt. Replaced PCM and programmed and coded using ODIS vehicle starts and runs.

Customer drove away with it and retuned stated ONLY trunk lid lights (Backup lamps, stop lamps) are in opperable.

Previous tech found some blown bulbs and replaced. But could not get to work.

Now im on the job, with little experience with ODIS. DTCs are in (Gateway Module, Central Electronics, and Comfort Module) for incorrect coding.

Attempted to code gateway and doesnt seem to go well. It completes stating coding successful but not parimeterization

Attempted to code other two modules and initially get message stating that module is not seen in gateway but passes coding.

NOTE: IF I PLAY AROUND ENOUGH WITH THESE MODULES. I CAN GET THE BACKUP LAMPS TO START WORKING AGAIN BUT ONLY DURING THAT IGNITION CYCLE AND NO NEW DTCS WILL SET AS IM MONITORING FOR NEW CODES. . IF I TURN VECHILE OFF FOR AN SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME, LIGHTS STOP WORKING AND GET INCORRECT CODING DTCS

IF ANYONE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS LET ME KNOW. THANKS EVERYONE
