Hello everyone, this is a fantastic forum, in my opinion! I didn’t expect there to be so many highly knowledgeable and friendly people.
But getting to the point: I have a 1.6 e-HDi 92 hp. I wanted to understand, when remapping, within what engine RPM range and at what pedal position/gear, the turbo should start spooling, reach its maximum boost (1.3 bar), and then decrease. The previous tuner had set the turbo to its maximum between 2500 and 4000 RPM. At 2500 RPM, my speed is around 130 km/h, so that’s highway driving. But you can’t keep a turbo with 230,000 km on it at a constant 1.3 bar at 130 km/h for a long time. What am I getting wrong in my reasoning?
Who can help and advise me?
