Thanks for the feedback. Most failed activations in this thread come down to one of three things, so please check in this order:

Registration name – it must be entered exactly as ABDER, same case, no leading/trailing space. The key is bound to the name + HWID pair, so any difference will be rejected.
Key copy – copy the whole string in one go, including the trailing characters. If your browser or clipboard inserted a line break or a space, the key will not validate. Paste it into Notepad first to confirm it is a single line.
HWID match – reopen ECUMaster and compare the HWID it shows right now with E744-7103-A4F3-9B49-2A53-CE95-1435-E529-27. It can change after a Windows reinstall, disk/board swap or if you launched the tool from a different machine or a VM. Also run the app as Administrator, and make sure your AV/Defender is not quarantining files in the install folder.

If all three are correct and it still refuses, post a screenshot of the activation window showing the current HWID and the exact error message, plus the version you installed (1.0.4 is the current release on the resource page). With the fresh HWID I can issue a new key.

Good, that narrows it down. If there is no error at all, the app is most likely accepting the input but not saving the license, rather than rejecting it. Try this order:

Run as Administrator and, if it is installed under C:\Program Files (x86)\..., reinstall it to a simple path like C:\ECUMaster. Without write rights the tool can take the key and silently fail to store the license file, so it looks unregistered again on the next start.
Close and reopen the app after entering the key instead of judging by the activation window. Some builds only show the registered state after a restart.
Try the name in lower case too – enter abder instead of ABDER on a second attempt. The name field is case sensitive in this tool and it costs nothing to test both.
Exclude the install folder in Defender/AV before the attempt, then re-enter the key. A quarantined or blocked file in the folder will also stop the license from being written.

If it still stays unregistered after those, post two screenshots: the activation window with the name and key pasted in, and the main window title bar/About after restart, plus tell me which version you installed (current release is 1.0.4). That will show me whether the key is being rejected or simply not persisted, and I can reissue against the same HWID if needed.
