Skoda fabia vrs asz stock injectors yes map sensor is calibration in i believe it may have stage 1 do not have stock file i read with mpps v18The filename says "_modified" so this has already been touched by someone. Before I can review the maps or set up a switchable map, I need some details:
Vehicle & engine
- Make, model, year, engine code (ASZ, ARL, ATD, etc.)?
- Injectors – stock or upgraded? If upgraded, which ones?
File history
- Do you have the original/stock file to compare against?
- What was already modified in this file?
4-bar MAP sensor
Is the 4-bar sensor already fitted and the scaling already changed in this file, or does that still need doing? Stock EDC15P runs a 2.5-bar sensor, so all boost-referenced maps (charge pressure limiters, SOI vs. boost, smoke limiter vs. boost axis) need rescaling for 4-bar if it hasn't been done yet.
Switchable map method
On EDC15P the most common approach is the cruise control button method (toggle via cruise stalk). Alternative is a physical switch wired to an unused ECU pin. Which do you prefer, and how many modes – 2 (stock/tuned) or 3 (stock/eco/power)?
From the file I can see TSW V2.20 310300 3116 and Bosch HW 1037375966, which is consistent with an EDC15P+. But I won't validate the fuel/boost maps for a 1752 and 220 bhp target without knowing the full hardware setup and having a stock baseline to compare.
Send over the info above and I can give you proper guidance.

Also 3 mapsGreat—then at least we have:
Skoda Fabia vRS, ASZ, stock injectors, and you are reading with MPPS v18 (I assume a 512KB dump, but please confirm).
For me to be able to say whether this file is actually “good” for 1752 and around 220 bhp (and that the 4-bar MAP</b] is correctly calibrated and that the switchable map works), some key data is still missing:
- Vehicle model year (month/year) and whether the ECU is EDC15P+</b] (it says on ecu/etikett).
[*]Confirm ECU HW/SW number from the label (I can see something in the file pointing to Bosch HW 1037375966, but I want the exact information from the label + SW/part number).
[*]Exact boost pressure (bar) you want to run with the 1752.
[*]Which 4-bar MAP sensor</b>: brand/art.nr and whether it is physically installed as a 4-bar sensor (not just “scaled” in the software). Are you using it as 4-bar in the calculations, or is it still logik/scaling from 2.5-bar?
[*]The MPPS read: was it a full dump (the same size every time, t.ex. 512KB) or partial? And do you know whether it is flashad/med checksummed afterwards?
[*]Switchable map mode</b]: how is it intended to toggle (cruise button or external switch), and are you running 2 modes (stock/tuned) or 3 modes?
Please write the points above (brief is enough). Then I can point out exactly what you need to check in your modified file: that boostaxis/limiters are rescaled for the correct MAP (4-bar), that smoke/rail/IQ-limiter matches the airflow for the 1752, and whether the fueling is actually reasonable for ~220 bhp with stock injectors.
Also 3 maps
Sorry, can you reply in English? I have not managed to get the switching to work. However, I know this map has 2 code locks, 2 in codeblock 5.Good—then at least we have:

Hi,You’ll need to send a few exact identifiers first—otherwise I can’t tell you where “codeblock 2” and “codeblock 5” are in your EDC15P file, or what you can safely change to make an eco mode vs a turbo mode.
Post/transcribe these (from the ECU label + your file layout):
- ECU label: Bosch HW number + SW/part number (exactly as printed).
- Confirm if it’s EDC15P+ or not (from the label).
- Your MPPS read: was it a full dump (same size every time, e.g. 512KB)?
- Explain “2 code locks 2 in codeblock 5”:
- What parameters are locked (boost/torque/limits etc.)—if you know.
- How you intended to select modes, since switching “doesn’t work”:
- Which input are you using (pin/wire) or what switch method (cruise/external)?
- 4-bar MAP sensor details: brand + part number, and confirm it’s physically 4-bar (not just “scaled in software”).
- Your target boost for the “turbo/good for my turbo” mode (in bar).
- Clarify what you mean by “not scaled 2.5 bar”:
- Are you already using correct 4-bar scaling in the file and want me to set limits for it?
- Or are you still on 2.5-bar logic and want you to change it to 4-bar?
If you can also upload/attach the file (or screenshots of the codeblock/map list from your tool showing “codeblock 2” and “codeblock 5”), I can tell you exactly what to change for eco vs turbo—and what’s blocking the switching.
Hi,
I've checked the file information and can provide the following details.
The ECU is a Bosch ED...
I have scaled a 4 bar map sensor correctlyGood—at least we now have the ECU IDs and know that you performed a full MPPS OBD read, so I can start mapping out why your “switch” is not behaving as intended.
But to determine which mode is “eco” and which is “performance” (and whether it really is your codeblock 2 and codeblock 5 that are being switched), I still need 2 things from you:
- How are you trying to switch between the modes? Describe exactly which method/input you are using (t.ex. cruise button, external switch to an ECU input, vacuum, etc.) and which pin/kontakt/ledning you connected it to.
- What does the log or your editor show that the ECU is actually doing when you “switch”?Provide a screenshot/utdrag where you can see:
- which tabell/flagga/parameter selects the mode (the connection between “eco/perf” and codeblock 2/5),
- and preferably that you can see the mode state live (t.ex. via data/listor in your tool).
Regarding your injection-duration concern: it is entirely reasonable that “underscale” in a codeblock could prevent you from reaching the expected IQ/fuel quantity—but unless we know which codeblock is actually active when you think you are testing performance, I cannot say whether it is a calibration error or simply that you are switching incorrectly (or that the switching has no effect due to blocking conditions).
Finally: you mention “not scaled 2.5 bar,” but you are now running a target of around 1.9–2.0 bar. To assess whether your boost/limiters and MAP logic match your hardware: which MAP sensor (brand + art.nr) have you installed, and confirm that the ECU calculates against bar abs when comparing against your 3050/3100 mbar? (If you can: post the name of the tabellen/parametern in the file where the limits are expressed.)
Hello, could you help me create a switchable engine map for my EDC15P? Could you also check the map and make sure it is compatible with a 1752 turbo? Also check the fuel calibration: the turbo should be suitable for 220 hp, with a front-mount intercooler and a 4-bar MAP sensor.
