Standard mode with ID NUMBER, IT IS POSSIBLE TO SET DEMO MODE

Understood. Just to clarify for others downloading: since this is the standard mode, you will still need to generate the Extended liсеnsе (free 2-month trial) from the official Forscan website using the Hardware ID if you want to do module programming or PATS functions.

Demo mode is useful for looking around the UI without an adapter connected.

I will try to test this program, it will be standard for a long time.

Good luck with the testing.

The Standard liсеnsе is perfectly fine for general diagnostics, reading DTCs, and monitoring live data. You only really need the Extended liсеnsе if you plan on doing module configuration or PATS programming later on.

Let us know if you run into any issues with this version.

I understand that a liсеnsе is not needed because the program is already free.

It is partially correct. The software itself is free to download and use for basic diagnostics (reading/clearing codes, viewing live data).

However, if you want to perform specific tasks, you do need an Extended liсеnsе. These tasks include:
  • Module configuration (AsBuilt data modification)
  • PATS programming (Keys)
  • Service functions (DPF regen, injector coding, etc.)

You can usually generate a free 2-month Extended liсеnsе on their official forum, but for advanced work, the standard "free" version won't let you execute those commands.

THANKYOU!!!

You're welcome!

One final tip for your testing: if you are using a standard ELM327 adapter with a toggle switch (for HS-CAN and MS-CAN), make sure you pay attention to the prompts in Forscan. It will ask you to flip the switch when it needs to read modules on the other network.

If it doesn't ask and you can't see all modules, check the Settings -> Connection tab and ensure the adapter support is configured correctly for your hardware.

Enjoy the software!

Which folder should I copy the calibration files to?

By default, FORScan expects calibration files to be located in your Documents folder.

You should copy the files to:
Code:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\CalibrationFiles

If the CalibrationFiles folder does not exist inside your Documents folder, simply create it and paste the files there. FORScan should automatically detect them when you attempt to program a module.

FORScan varsayılan olarak kalibrasyon dosyalarının Belgeler klasörünüzde bulunmasını bekler.

Dosyaları şu konuma kopyalamalısınız:
Code:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\CalibrationFiles

Belgeler klasörünüzde CalibrationFiles klasörü yoksa , oluşturun ve dosyaları oraya yapıştırın. FORScan, bir modülü programlamaya çalıştığınızda bunları otomatik olarak algılayacaktır.
very thanks

very thanks

You're welcome!

Make sure to restart the software after copying the files so it picks them up correctly. If it still doesn't see them, check the Settings -> General tab to verify the path hasn't been changed to a custom location.
