A few practical notes:
Always verify the output BIN size and block layout against what your flashing tool expects for that specific ECU. A wrong protocol selection will give you a garbage binary.
If you're converting for tuning purposes, make sure you know whether you need the sw (software/calibration) or hw (hardware/boot) container — for map editing you almost always want the SW FRF only.
The tool outputs a raw flat binary. If your flash tool expects an encrypted/signed container back (e.g., for OBD flashing on newer Simos/MED17 ECUs), you'll still need to re-pack and sign after editing.
As with any online converter handling proprietary firmware — consider what you're uploading and whether you're comfortable with that from a data/IP perspective.
