Xentry StartKey Invalid
The error message says
"La StartKey mise à disposition n'est pas valide" — meaning the StartKey you entered is not valid.
Common causes and solutions:
- Expired StartKey — StartKeys are time-limited (usually 24h or linked to a specific session). If you generated it earlier, it may have expired. Generate a new one.
- Wrong HW-ID — The StartKey is tied to your hardware ID (HWID). If your HWID changed (new HDD, VM clone, different MAC address), the key won't match. Verify your HWID matches what was used to generate the StartKey.
- Date/Time mismatch — Check that your PC date and time are correct. An incorrect system clock will invalidate the StartKey.
- Copy/paste error — If you typed it manually, double-check every character. Even one wrong letter will cause this error.
- Xentry version mismatch — Make sure the StartKey was generated for the correct Xentry/DAS version you're running.
What to do:
- Verify your system date/time is correct
- Confirm your HWID hasn't changed
- Generate a fresh StartKey matching your current HWID and Xentry version
- Paste it (don't type manually) to avoid typos
