I was just checking. The reason I was asking was that it stated permanently but says it will affect the installation. I wanted to know if it meant that defender could be reactivated after successful installation. The reason for the paranoid stance was that there are a lot of links and it is hard to track what is legitamately hosted and what has been pushed after. I assume that the only legitamate source is the link at the top of the overview tab, and that there is notthing else needed other than the files contained therein? These are patched OEM programs, so it's completely normal that antivirus software flags the patches as viruses or Trojans. We should be glad that someone even puts in the time and effort to crack and provide these tools. If you are paranoid or don't know what you're doing, just stay away from it.![]()
I have a laptop that I use for purely vehicle work, but have Volvo systems on there too and didn't want to corrupt all of that info.
I'm wondeirng if ISTA+ and E-sys would run ok on a VM, has anyone done that with success?
Apologies if I sound like a bit of a fool, I've recently lost my father and for the past few months I've been on a bit of a mental overdrive doing everything for my parents whilst trying to manage a busy life, it's taken its toll on my brain of late.
I do appreicate the efforts folks have gone to, which allows us to use these tools, but as ever with the wider web, there are nefarious agents out there keen to ruin good work for their own ends.
