Buena pregunta. El Isuzu E-IDSS (Industrial Engine Diagnostic Service System) está diseñado específicamente para motores industriales Isuzu, es decir, los motores que se montan en:

  • Maquinaria de construcción (excavadoras, cargadores, etc.)
  • Generadores y grupos electrógenos
  • Equipos agrícolas
  • Bombas industriales
  • Embarcaciones (motores marinos)
  • Otros equipos OEM que usan motores Isuzu

¿Y para camiones Isuzu?

Para camiones y vehículos comerciales Isuzu (serie N, serie F, ELF, Forward, Giga, D-Max, etc.) el software OEM correspondiente es el Isuzu G-IDSS (Global IDSS) o el Isuzu IDSS II, que están orientados a la línea vehicular.

Son sistemas diferentes con bases de datos y cobertura de ECUs distintas. Si conectas el E-IDSS a un camión, lo más probable es que no reconozca la unidad de control o que la cobertura de funciones sea muy limitada.

En resumen:
  • E-IDSS → Motores industriales (off-highway)
  • G-IDSS / IDSS II → Camiones y vehículos comerciales Isuzu (on-highway)

Si necesitas diagnóstico para camiones, busca el G-IDSS. Si es para un motor industrial montado en algún equipo, entonces el E-IDSS es el indicado. 👍
