Bin updated Mercedes 7G SCN Data Browser — Offline Reference Tool with a new update entry:

Mercedes...

Thanks for the update, Bin! That is a massive jump in database size. Having 4732 entries offline is going to be a lifesaver when working on VGS units without active server access.

A couple of quick questions regarding the v5.0 structure:

  • Does this dataset distinguish between VGS2 and VGS3 hardware IDs automatically, or do we need to filter that manually based on the HW part number?
  • Is the import format for custom lists still the same as the previous version?

I assume it still follows the standard structure:
Code:
HW_ID;SW_ID;SCN_STRING;CODING_STRING

I'll give this a test run on a 722.9 unit later today and report back. Great work keeping this tool alive.
