QLaunchr — Launch RPM Setpoint Utility for ECU Calibration Files

Welcome to the discussion thread for QLaunchr v1.0.0.5 — a lightweight Windows utility for offline editing of launch control RPM parameters in supported ECU calibration files.

What it does:

• Load a supported ECU binary/calibration file
• Select vehicle make and ECU type from built-in profiles
• Set a launch RPM setpoint and adjust the RPM cut speed value
• Review changes in the summary panel, then save the modified output file

Supported ECU families:

• VAG (Audi / Seat / Skoda / VW): Bosch EDC15P, EDC15V, EDC15VM, EDC16U/U1/U2.1/U31/U34, EDC17C54, EDC17C64, EDC17CP04/CP14/CP20 — Siemens PCR2.1, PPD1.x
• BMW: Bosch EDC16C31, EDC16C35
• Alfa / Citroën / Fiat / Lancia / Opel / Peugeot: Marelli MJ8DF, MJD6F3
• Ford: Bosch EDC15P, Visteon DCU102

Important reminders:

• Always work on a copy of your original file — keep the untouched original safe
• This is an offline file editor only — it does not flash or communicate with the vehicle
• Checksum correction is not guaranteed by this tool — use a professional flash tool that handles checksums properly when writing back to the ECU
• Results depend on the ECU family, firmware version, and how the file was originally read (full/partial)

• Windows 7 SP1 / 8.1 / 10 / 11 (32-bit or 64-bit; compatibility mode may be needed on Win 11)
• Dual-core 2.0 GHz+, 2 GB RAM minimum
