Hello, everyone,
I'm having a starting problem with a Clio 4 1.5 dCi equipped with a Bosch EDC17C84 ECU (TC1782 processor, TPROT V12 protection).
I flashed a Stage 1 file in Bench Mode with my tool. Writing completes perfectly at 100%, but once the ECU is back in the car, the starter cranks and injection is cut off. When I restore the original file, the car starts straight away.
The problem is TPROT V12 blocking the modified map. Could someone with an official WinOLS license please manually apply the TPROT OFF patch directly to the Stage 1 file?
I've attached the working original file and the Stage 1 file that causes the problem.
Many thanks in advance for your help!"

Please can you write on english language....

If your tool asking to patch tprot then leave it to patch.....if your tool trying to recalculate checksum don't use it...

Okay, thanks a lot, that’s kind of you. It’s asking whether to correct the checksum—should I let it do that for your file, or should I select "do not correct"?

Okay, I’ll do it this way: I’ll inject the file and make sure not to correct the checksum. Thanks—I’ll test it and keep you posted.

My advice is that you write back original file and put ecu to original state. I think that you have problem with your tool...not files.

I tried to fix the checksum and selected 'yes'; it gave me this message.

I really don't know what to say...I never used AMT so I can't speak about it...but I know that sometimes can make problem with c84 ecu.
Checksum is OK in all files here...Put back ORI and try in BOOT mode to make full backup....then make your st1 and write in boot mode also.
Good luck...

Good evening. I tried to flash the corrected Stage 1 file that you provided. I fixed the checksum using AMT and wrote the original EEPROM data onto it, but it’s not working—it won’t start. 😔
