By carefully remapping the main torque model, driver-wish, boost duty and smoke limit tables, this Stage 1 file liberates roughly 35 Nm and 28 hp without breaching conservative exhaust-gas-temperature targets. Rail-pressure set-points are raised in transient zones for a quicker ramp-up in injection quantity, then tapered at steady-cruise loads to keep fuel economy unchanged. Injection timing advance is optimised between 1 800–3 200 rpm, improving cylinder pressure phasing and mid-range efficiency, while altitude and cold-start corrections stay intact for OEM-grade reliability in extreme climates. EGR flow is reduced but diagnostics preserved to prevent fault codes, and all factory limp-home strategies remain active to protect against sensor failure. The result is a noticeably stronger surge from just under 1 700 rpm, a broader plateau of pulling power through 4 200 rpm and more confident overtakes, yet the calm drivability and refinement of the commuter-friendly SUV are fully retained. Supplied as a complete binary that flashes in minutes via any BDM/OBD tool supporting Bosch EDC16V2, the calibration is designed for engines running stock turbo, injectors, clutch and DPF, so no hardware upgrades or irreversible modifications are required.
