Hello I'm in one situation, may I have you help? I have one Ford ranger 2.2 diesel. I programmed key more than 5 times and I made reset but it doesn't recognize the key. Now I want to know if have there any script to do immo off?

UPA-USB is not the right tool for IMMO OFF on this vehicle. The UPA-USB programmer is mainly used for reading/writing EEPROMs and MCUs — it can help you dump data from the ECU or cluster, but the actual IMMO OFF modification needs to be done on the dump file itself using dedicated software or manual hex editing.

To help you properly, I need more details:

  • What is the exact year of the Ranger?
  • Which ECU type is fitted? (e.g., Delphi, Continental SID208, Bosch — check the label on the ECU)
  • What tool did you use for key programming?
  • Did you get any specific DTC codes after the failed attempts?
  • Is the vehicle cranking but not starting, or is there no crank at all?

General guidance:

  • Ford Ranger 2.2 TDCI typically uses a Continental SID208 or Delphi DCM3.5 ECU depending on the market and year.
