I'm AK47, I'm from Sweden, and I've recently gotten into tuning cars.
I'm a heavy mechanic or, as some people call it, a diesel mechanic and I've really fallen in love with diesels repairing, tuning, rebuilding and understanding how they work.
After rebuilding and repairing diesel engines, I figured the next step was learning how to tune them. So I bought some (yes, some of you will probably hate me) Chinese tools. I got a KESS V2, KTAG, MPPS V18, MPPS V21 and SM2 PRO with moduals.
I'm 26 years old and I've been learning as much as I can. I have some WinOLS tutorials in PDF and video format, and I've been studying them and experimenting on my files just to understand the patterns of different maps and learn how to use WinOLS properly.
I've also learned that I can use Ghidra to analyze. I'm interested in working with for my test car. I'm still learning more about the tools, software, and the whole tuning process.
I've also learned that software claiming to do "auto tuning" isn't always the best option. I tried one for an EGR and swirl flap delete, and somehow my MAF sensor went crazy when turning left, causing the car to jerk and lose power or turn off... So that's definitely something I won't forget!
Right now, I'm learning how to do EGR, swirl flap, and DPF work on my own car, starting with a Stage 1 and eventually moving towards Stage 2.
Once I've mastered those, I'd like to learn how to create a map selector so I can switch between different stages.
I still have some mechanical problems with my car that need solving, but I'll save that for another post before this introduction gets way too long.
If you're Swedish, or you know of any Swedish communities for ECU tuning, diesel tuning, or anything related, feel free to DM me!
I'm really interested in meeting people with the same interests and learning from others in the community.
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
I'll upload my original file if someone mayeb want to give me a mappack, damos or A2L. Or maybe have something for me.

Thank you so much! Here is a small Mappack with all basic maps you need for a Remap.
good luck
I’m mainly looking to start with the EGR, swirl flaps, and DPF delete first, but I really appreciate any help or guidance. I’m also trying to learn how the different map patterns look and understand what I’m actually changing, so any explanations or pointers are greatly appreciated!
