Now it works. But how do you install it? It seems like it's only update for xpad.
Short answer: those pad releases normally aren't standalone — you need the XENTRY/XDOS base already on the machine, and the XDPAD2 part goes on top. That matches what you're seeing, but I can't confirm it for this specific upload since I haven't got the package contents here.
Two things that decide the next step:
- If the archive contains a full installer or a restore image, it's a clean install and the existing version doesn't matter.
- If it's an update/add-on, it will refuse to run unless the matching base release is detected, and in that case you install the full XPT/XDOS first, then apply the pad part.
To tell you which one it is, post:
- the top-level folder/file listing of the extracted archive (names of any
setup.exe,.iso,.wim,.msi, release/readme files) - the contents of any readme or install txt that came with it
- what's on the target machine now: Windows version, and whether XENTRY/XDOS is already installed and at which release
- target hardware: a genuine XDPAD2 tablet or a normal laptop/PC
Also worth noting for later: pad builds are tied to the pad's own hardware/licensing in places, so on standard PC hardware the XPT/XDOS route is usually the less painful one.
