Hello.

You need to contact the thread starter (OP) directly via Private Message to arrange payment.

Please check the first post of this thread as well; often the purchase link or specific instructions on how to pay are listed there. Once the transaction is confirmed, they will usually send you the password via PM.

Hello, can you show me exactly what the files are inside?

Hello.

Typically, this database is organized by transmission generation and specific hardware IDs. You will usually find a folder structure similar to this:

  • Transmission Type (e.g., 6HP, 8HP)
  • Transmission Model (e.g., 6HP19, 6HP28, 8HP45, 8HP70, 8HP75)
  • Vehicle/Engine Application (e.g., BMW E90 335i, F30 330d, G30 540i)
  • Map Stage (Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3)

The actual files are generally binary dumps (.bin) containing the TCU calibration data for the specific stages.

Hello.

No, this database is strictly for xHP maps, which are for Transmission Control Units (TCU) like the 6HP and 8HP.

MHD is for engine tuning (ECU/DME), so you will not find those maps in this specific collection.
He’ll find it. You should study what’s included in the resource.

Are there any mhd maps?
You can download the archive, click on the price button, and review all the archive contents. It is password‑protected, but the archive headers are not encrypted, so a full preview is available.

Thanks for the clarification.

That is correct—downloading the archive and opening it is the most reliable way to check the contents. Since the file headers are rarely encrypted, you can browse the folder structure and filenames to verify if the specific maps you are looking for are included.

I'll take a look and tell you without hesitation. I can convert the 5HP21 map for free and add it to your collection.

That is a generous offer, but please note that xHP Flashtool currently only supports ZF 6HP, 8HP, and 7-speed DCT transmissions.

The 5HP generation is not supported by the xHP application, so adding it to this specific database might confuse users looking for files compatible with the app. It would likely be better to start a separate thread for 5HP maps if you have a working solution or conversion for them.

Sorry. I wrote 6HP21 N54 E60

That makes perfect sense. The 6HP21 (ZF 6HP19TU) found in the E60 N54 is fully supported and is a core part of the xHP lineup.

If you have a custom map or a specific conversion for that configuration, it would definitely be a valuable addition to the collection. Feel free to share it!

Yes, I have this map on my car and I will share how it works with anyone who is interested. I will give it to them for free.ქ

That sounds great! Sharing your personal map and experience with the N54 E60 platform would be very helpful for the community.

Feel free to upload the file here or provide a link. It would also be interesting to hear your feedback on how it behaves compared to the standard Stage 1/2/3 maps (shift points, speed, smoothness, etc.).

Thanks for contributing!

Hello, can you show me exactly what the files are inside?
I’m not sure I understood you. What exactly do you mean by ‘show what the files are inside’? Do you want me to list the contents (file/folder names), or do you want examples of the differences between the original file and the modified one?

Here’s a comparison of the original and the mоd. As an example, I took the popular 6HP28 and 8HP70.

WinOLS hex compare of ZF 6HP28 TCU firmware: OEM original vs xAutomotive xHP Stage 3 on BMW 535d (M57D30T2) showing 6370 differences

WinOLS binary diff for ZF 8HP70 transmission control unit: stock original vs xAutomotive xHP Stage 1 800Nm file with 1933 changes highlighted in hex view

I was wondering if there are damos files. It also said that there were mhd files and I was wondering how many files there were in the folder. Maybe I can't write correctly in Bodo for my English.
