Torque, boost and smoke limiters are rescaled with balanced air–fuel targets so the automatic gearbox maintains reliability during heavy stop-and-go duty. Cold-start, idle and part-throttle maps are refined to hold OEM fuel economy on cruise, yet boost builds noticeably earlier for crisper urban pull-aways.
